As reported in a recent article from McKinsey & Company, a survey of physicians across the country shows a unique perspective on medical supply management and a strong desire for greater participation in decision making processes. Nearly 70% of physicians surveyed said they want to be more involved in supply chain decisions around product selection and vendor negotiation, highlighting a gap in communication that could help healthcare facilities better manage costs while providing top-notch care.
